Dear Pastor and Praying Friends,

Greetings in the Name that is above every name!   I trust this letter
finds you doing well.  I know it does, even in the heat of the storm.  Can you imagine how the three Hebrew Children felt when they were cast into the fire?  They must have thought, why us, all we ever done was stood for God?  But as we look back, we can say that God will take care of us also just because of their trial.  AMEN!!!   This is an up-date on our progress.  Support is going up, up, up!!!  This last month's statement has our
faithful support at 68%.  This does not include the churches that  missed the month of Sept.  If they would have been there, our support level would have been right at 80%.  Praise the Lord.  More meetings are scheduled throughout the remainder of the year.  However, there are still some open dates  that need to be filled.  Pray for this request.  We want to be in language school in January.  It would be great if all of our support would come in before January.  My wife is doing better, although she still is in pain.  I have started  taking her to a chiropractor to see if he could do her some good.  Ben is doing good. He gets to preach every once in awhile.  If you want him to preach at a youth meeting or something else, he would be glad to.  Call him at 864-878-6825.  I wish I had
been like him as a teenager.  But I was not saved at that time.  Tennille and Ronnie are enjoying life in Wales.   They had five kids to go to Sunday school with them last week.  They were glad for this.  Ronnie goes to the park close to their home and teaches them to play Basketball  just to get to  know them and then he is able to invite them to church.  Pray for us, we will be going to Wales to see them in  November.  The tickets are paid
for, all we have to do is get on the plane and go.  The dates are 17 through Dec. 2.,  not very far away.
Our major prayer request right now is for John.  I paid for his ticket to come home, and we were glad to see him.  He was here for one month and now he has left again.   Please pray for God to meet his spiritual needs.  This is a real burden upon our hearts.  We want to see God change his life around. John is 21 years old.  Please, pastors and churches please pray for him.  God still can answer prayer.
Again, I want to say thanks for your faithful prayers on our behalf.  God through His Son, Jesus is blessing and meeting our needs.  One day soon we will be getting on a jet
headed to Costa Rica for language school.  If we are not able to be there in January, it will be in the spring before we are able to go.  Please pray for our support.  God Bless you.
